Jennifer was born in Halifax and has called North Vancouver, where her son was born, home for the last 11 years. Jennifer loves the process of tattoo removal and helping people let go of their past. She has been involved with the UBC Faculty of Medicine in various capacities for the last 10 years and also makes jewelry, malas, organic lip balm and lip tints, natural hair spray, and body butter. After a career in various business and entrepreneurial pursuits, Leigh decided he wanted to do something that was meaningful to people. So much of our working lives can be consumed by aimless jobs if we are not careful. Leigh wanted every encounter to make a difference to others. And so Laserase was born. All of his clients are happier after meeting than they were before, whether in skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, body sculpting, permanent hair removal or any of the other services we provide. Originally from South Africa, Leigh has been in North Vancouver since the early 2000’s and his children both schooled and qualified here. His wife is in early childhood education at a private school on the North Shore. Leigh enjoys physical activity like running, cycling and yoga. He recently rode to the tip of South America on a motorbike and has previously ridden to Calgary by bicycle with a group of friends, raising over $12000 for Big Brothers. He loves debate, ideas, travel and reading and he plans to sail around the world while it is still there!
